About The Children's Cancer Foundation
The Children's Cancer Foundation® is a charity committed to raising funds for building facilities and for the research and treatment of cancers that affect children.
Since its founding, over 32.7 million dollars has been given in grants by the foundation.
All contributions are tax deductible under our 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status.
This foundation is affiliated with some of the nation's foremost pediatric oncology centers, but is NOT part of any other organization.

Shirley Howard, CCF President and Founder, has been recognized this year by the Maryland Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals with the Impact of One Award for the difference that she has made in children's cancer through her efforts. Other awards that this dynamic 85 year old has received include: The Champions of Pediatric Research Award, the Outstanding Older Worker from Maryland Award, the "Bravo! Business Achievement Award" by Smart Woman Magazine, The Variety Club International Presidential Citation, charter membership in the 1789 Society at Georgetown University, induction into the Maryland Food Industry Hall of Fame, and the Giant Food Lifetime Achievement Award.,
